Welcome to Velindre Walks

My name if Ogwen Evans and I’m a 30 something living in Cardiff, Wales; working for Brains Brewery as an IT Projects Manager; Welsh born but with ambition to see as much of the world as I can. I will be blogging my journey from now through to climbing Kilimanjaro in September 2010. It’s a special climb at anytime but I have the privilege of representing Brains during a fundraising climb for Velindre Cancer Centre and I have the help of a few guys that you may have heard of; 15 ex Welsh rugby Captains who have agreed to help us raise money for lung cancer research.

I will be blogging about Brains, Velindre, Kilimanjaro, fellow climbers and my preparation.
